Tanzania Investment Forum 2026 (TIF 2026) is a national Investment Forum designed to bring together public and private sector stakeholders to accelerate domestic investment and strengthen collaboration towards the delivery of DIRA 2050.

The Forum is anchored on the recognition that the private sector is expected to contribute 70% of investment towards the realisation of DIRA 2050 by 2050. TIF 2026 will therefore focus on mobilising domestic private-sector investment, showcasing investment and partnership opportunities, unlocking Public-Private Partnership (PPP) opportunities, expanding Tanzanian participation through Local Content, improving access to capital, and translating DIRA 2050 into practical investment and business opportunities.

TIF 2026 will combine high-level conference dialogue with investment opportunity showcasing, exhibitions, Business-to-Business (B2B) engagement, access-to-capital sessions, Local Content and PPP dialogue and curated investment site execution. The Forum is intended to move beyond awareness and dialogue towards practical linkages that can generate investment, partnerships, financing, market opportunities and follow-up actions.

The Tanzania Investment Forum aims to serve as a strategic platform for preparing Tanzania for the upcoming Global Investment Summit, scheduled to be held in Tanzania in February 2027. The Forum is intended to build momentum and ensure that Tanzania enters the Global Investment Summit with a clear investment proposition, a strong portfolio of bankable projects, prepared investors, strengthened public-private partnerships, and concrete investment leads and commitments. It will therefore serve as an important preparatory and promotional platform for maximizing the economic benefits and investment outcomes of the Global Investment Summit.
