TIF 2026 PROGRAMME APPROACH

TIF 2026 will converge conference, investment and business themes around collective action to boost domestic investment, trade and economic transformation. The programme will be delivered through a structured combination of stakeholder consultations, high-level dialogue, investment showcasing, B2B engagement, exhibitions, access-to-capital sessions and PPP/Local Content discussions.

TIF 2026 will provide complementary platforms for business growth, public-private collaboration, innovation and investment promotion. The Forum will connect policy dialogue with practical investment and business engagement.

  • Converge conference, investment and business themes around collective action to boost domestic investment and trade.

  • Showcase Tanzania’s economic, investment and business opportunities and open practical opportunities for domestic businesses.

  • Catalyse collaboration among Government, the private sector and other stakeholders around PPP opportunities.

  • Facilitate B2B relationships, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and market linkages.

  • Strengthen public-private collaboration to accelerate youth and women led innovation and entrepreneurship.

  • Provide a platform for businesses and investors to engage with financing institutions and potential capital partners.

Programme Principles

  • Investment-oriented: prioritising identifiable opportunities, projects, partnerships and financing pathways.

  • Private-sector-led: positioning businesses, investors and entrepreneurs as central actors in DIRA 2050 delivery.

  • Public-private collaboration: creating structured engagement between Government and business around practical opportunities and constraints.

  • Inclusive participation: creating space for Tanzanian enterprises, youth, women and emerging businesses to participate in investment value chains.

  • Action and follow-up: linking Forum outputs to practical post-Forum actions, partnerships and investment engagements.
